What is a BodyTite™ treatment?
With age or after significant physical changes, the skin loses its elasticity, while fat deposits often remain stubborn. Many patients want an effective solution that not only reduces fat but also tightens the skin at the same time. BodyTite™ is an innovative procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to specifically liquefy fat tissue and tighten the skin from within. A fine probe is inserted under the skin, while a second electrode is placed above it. Controlled heat energy flows between the two, dissolving fat cells and stimulating collagen production. The treatment is suitable for various areas of the body, such as the abdomen, upper arms, hips, thighs, or knees. The goal is to achieve a harmoniously tightened appearance while minimizing damage to the surrounding tissue.
What changes does the treatment bring about?
BodyTite® combines the advantages of fat treatment with a simultaneous skin tightening effect. After treatment, the treated tissue appears smoother, more compact, and more defined. At the same time, skin quality is improved by the stimulation of collagen production. Initial results are usually visible after just a few weeks. Skin tightening develops over several months, as tissue remodeling takes place gradually. In many cases, a single application per region is sufficient. The final result is visible after three to six months.
What to expect...
Preparing for treatment
A detailed consultation takes place before the treatment. During this consultation, the body area, skin condition, and individual goals are analyzed. Alcohol, nicotine, and blood-thinning medications should be avoided for several days before the procedure.
Treatment process
The treatment is performed under local anesthesia. After disinfecting and marking the areas to be treated, the probe is inserted into the subcutaneous tissue. There, the radiofrequency heat liquefies the fat and simultaneously stimulates the tightening of the collagen fibers. Depending on the area, the treatment takes between 60 and 120 minutes.
Right after treatment
After the procedure, swelling, pressure, or minor bruising may occur. During the first few days, you should refrain from sports, saunas, and direct sunlight. Compression garments may be recommended for a few days or weeks to support the healing process.
Care after treatment
The treated areas should be rested during the first few days. Mild care products and cooling, moisturizing creams support regeneration. Massage, heat, and active skin care should be temporarily avoided. Wearing special compression garments can have a positive effect on the stability of the results.
